Founded in 2014, Epicenter Projects has served as a nomadic residency and exhibition platform for artists working in experimental, time-based and site-responsive modes of production. Working with a roster of regional and international artists, Epicenter Projects has generated an output of innovative works alongside the San Andreas fault, using the existential framework of the shifting fault line and surrounding desert as an external studio of artistic production. Embracing the spirit of Land Art within this era of digital interconnectivity, each project manifests in the form of an online exhibition archived and available to view via epicenterprojects.com. In recent years our programming has expanded beyond a residency platform into producing satellite exhibitions, performances, and lectures. In 2020, Epicenter projects will partner with LAccolade Residence from Paris, France. This new collaboration will bring forth an amplified exchange of international artists and public events housed within a large scale studio residency, gallery, and performance space located in Palm Springs, California and beyond.
